Barkus Dog Parade
This is probably the most unusual Friend’s event ever! Owners and their costumed dogs compete for prizes on the Plaza outside the library in August. Many of the owners are also costumed, and some are VERY creative! Is that Dorothy and Toto? Or Jack Sparrow the pirate? Or Peter Pan?
Book-Club-In-A-Bag
Kits are provided to check out 10 copies of the same book for book clubs. These kits can be reserved on line through the Carver County Library web site, www.carverlib.org. Each kit may be checked out for a six week period, but they may not be renewed. The person who checks it out is responsible for the entire kit, both fines and replacement fees
