We Need Your Donations!

These donations from the public are what make our book sales a success. When you donate items you no longer need, want, or have room for, you provide a way for book and movie lovers of all ages to acquire a wide range of these items at reasonable prices. Often donated books can be used to replenish worn or lost books in the library's permanent collection. Donations accepted at the circulation desk during regular library hours.

Donating Used Books and Other Materials

The Chanhassen Library welcomes the donation of used books, CDs, books on tape, videos and DVDs.  Items that are not needed for the Library collection are donated to the Friends of the Chanhassen Library for resale.  The proceeds from the book sales are used for the purchase of cultural programs, FOCL programs, library equipment, and special projects for the benefit of the patrons of the Chanhassen Library.

Donations may be taken to the library during regular hours.
